hello

twitter tells me i have tweeted about eighteen thousand times. i have done this bc when i tweet, sometimes people will read it, and some of those people will respond—& over time, more people, more responses. also, although this feels odd to say of myself, i think that through the practice & the responses, i have gotten better at tweeting. this has felt very good to an inveterate private scribbler. i’m curious about whether the same thing will happen—or, i guess, whether i can make the same thing happen—if i post longer stuff where people can see it. so i am trying this.

i feel like i should tell anyone reading this what to expect here, but i don’t know what to expect myself. well, we’ll see
