the hunt in the forest, paolo uccello

as sly as prey
she runs away
til lesser hunters falter
since only hunters hound her
noli me tangere
her cry of challenge
as she leads the chase
why be wounded
by a clumsy blade
when the practiced killer
knows a smoother way?
